Rebecca is a title Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 16 years of experience. She graduated from the University of Queensland, where she has also recently completed her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Rebecca is also a former dancer, previously dancing with the Queensland Dance School of Excellence and graduated with a Diploma in Dance in 2002. She also has a Diploma in French and is a qualified Clinical Pilates instructor. Her clinical pilates training gives Rebecca a vast skill set to help her expertly manage her patients. Through her career, she has had the opportunity to work with many amateur and elite dancers and sports persons including AIS Diving and the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team.
Rebecca has an outstanding eye and strong appreciation of movement patterns and the impact of load on the body. She is particularly interested in chronic or persistent pain and complex musculoskeletal presentations. Rebecca also offers a range of services alongside her Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates including Pre-Pointe Assessments for dancers and Tertiary Dance Assessments.
Rebecca has extensive experience treating athletes and non- athletes alike in the management of injuries, injury prevention and performance enhancement. She truly loves her work as a physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor and aspires to continue providing excellent clinical management to the musculoskeletal and sports population.
