Matt is a titled APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. Since graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2012, Matt has worked in private practice seeing a wide variety of injuries and conditions. In 2023, he completed his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at
the University of Queensland. In addition, he has completed further training in running assessment, shoulder assessments and rehabilitation, Pilates and dry needling/western acupuncture.
Matt enjoys working with sporting injuries, lower limb injuries and helping patients through their post-operative rehabilitation. As a football player for 25 years, he has suffered numerous injuries over the course of his playing career so understands what is needed to help you get back on the field.
Matt has worked with several football teams including The Gap FC Senior Women’s team and Lions FC Senior Men and Women’s teams in the NPL. He also is committed to helping the next generation of physiotherapists by tutoring students at Griffith University and supervising final year students during their practical placements.
