Amie has extensive clinical experience working alongside allied-health professionals, which has broadened her understanding of the body’s capacity to adapt and overcome challenges. She recognises the importance of regular massage for athletes, emphasising that it’s less of a luxury and more of an investment in their body.
Her clientele regularly includes cyclists, triathletes, long-distance runners, bodybuilders, swimmers, rowers, AFL players and fitness instructors.
Amie has worked with various sports teams, including Lions AFL & AFLW, the Qld Firebirds, AFL Qld Umpires, and has treated clients with diverse health and wellness goals in clinic. She has also worked with large scale sporting events like the international ‘SIXDAY Track Cycling Series.
Amie is committed to working alongside other practitioners within the team to develop and maintain the body’s optimal performance and recovery. She has a keen interest in the importance of healthy habits, strengthening exercises, as well as incorporating regular maintenance and rest for the body. In addition to different massge techniques, Amie also offers Myofascial Cupping in her treatments.
When she’s is not at work, Amie enjoys spending her time at pilates, at the beach, or relaxing with her furry friend – Freyja.
